Day 14 - May 31, 2008

Ok so I know most of my pics have been of the baby - but he's just such a good subject! Here he is playing with a toy his Auntie Kim bought him, he LOVES anything that makes sound and lights - and this does BOTH!

Day 13 - May 30, 2008

KITTY! Kitty is feeling much better (trip to the vets turned up that a small plastic toy he threw up was causing the issue.....poor kitty!). The cat NEVER gets near the baby - and today for some reason he wouldn't leave the baby alone - the baby LOVES the kitty and in fact is usually found chasing him around the house!

Day 12 - May 29, 2008

I love this picture. 1 - the crazy face, 2 - the drool on his shirt, and 3 - the hockey stick. The stick was a gift from one of his friends at daycare - and of course the sport daddy would most like to see him play. What will be even more funny - if he never plays hockey :)

Day 11- May 28, 2008

Baby laughs are the best sound in the world. Here's the little guy laughing up a storm while daddy tickles him with the dragon puppet on his exersaucer.

Day 10 -May 27, 2008

Another failed day....though I have an excuse. Our dear kitty was very sick and I spent the day at either the vets or cleaning up his "messes". Not my ideal day....

Day 9 - May 26th 2008

Hi guys! The little man has learned to wave - and he waves at everything! He's also a HUGE fan of the camera and tends to smile before I even turn it on!

Day 8 - May 25th, 2008

Ok it looks like just another tree. But this tree started off as one of those little itty bitty saplings - you know the kind - one teeny little branch. I got it free at McDonald's at some point along the way - probably on Earth Day about 15 years ago. My father humored me and planted it in the back yard, never thinking it would do much. It's the best growing tree in their backyard now!

Day 7 - May 24th, 2008

Ahhhh they joys of a crawling baby - can't turn your eyes for a minute. Here the little guy has discovered how to open drawers, and has emptied out all the dish towels - and just LOOK how proud he is!

Day 6 - May 23rd, 2008

On the road! Well sort of - at my mom's house in NH this weekend. This is the lilac bush that is in her garden. It has been there for as long as I can remember. I also remember as a kid just WAITING for it to bloom - because that meant my birthday was right around the corner!

Day 5 - May 22nd, 2008

I was hoping this would come out a bit better - but I didn't get out to take it until the sun was almost setting and there was a lot of shade. This is the plant hanging in front of the house - my wonderful neighbor, Peggy, bought it for me. She spoils me every year with a beautiful plant to put out there!

Day 4 - May 21st, 2008

Ooops. No pictures today - no good excuse except for being exhausted.

Day 3 - May 20th, 2008

Again - my little guy. He's quite mobile these days - and my husband opened the fridge and turned his back for a minute. Apparently L Man wanted some Italian salad dressing! (better than the gigantic bottle of wine I suppose!)

Day 2 - May 19th, 2008

My dearest little guy, found a new place to play. UNDER his exersaucer - which was all well and good until he realized he couldn't sit up, and couldn't figure out how to navigate over the bottom lip. Not a particularly fanstastic picture - but I'm going to be honest - most days pictures of this little guy might be the only ones I have time to take!

Day 1 - May 18th, 2008

We did the walk for the National Kidney Foundation on Sunday, May 18th. It was through the Franklin Park Zoo, which was pretty fun! This is just one of the many peacocks they had wandering around. Apparently he was the only show off though - none of the others would show us their feathers! I did learn from this picture though that I need to learn how to work with shadows a bit better!

And so I begin....

Well here goes my first attempt at a blog. My friend Darla has put an idea in my head that sounded like it would be a fun thing to do. It's a thing called "Project 365" and basically you take one picture every day for a year. Along with this I hope to actually read that HUGE users guide that comes with my camera and learn a thing or two along the way.

Some pictures I'm sure will be funny, some probably boring and many will likely be of my favorite subject these days, Logan.

So check in once in awhile and see what's goin on! I can't promise I'll update daily - as the computer is in the little man's room, and he's got a pretty early bed time. But I'll do my best!
